THE MOUNTAIN MAN

Through misty peaks, he dares to climb
His gaze is fixed on heights sublime
His trysts defy both space and time
The world below applauds!

His drone ascends with full control
The secrets of the hills unfold
Cliffs...bastions...waterfalls...behold!
The valleys breathe and thrive.

The lure of the Sahyadris captivates
A chant of devotion resonates
"Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji", reverberates
The Mountain Man - Aniruddha.

Today's poem, the thirteenth in my A to Z Blogging Challenge 2025 campaign, is dedicated to Aniruddha PatilAniruddha is a trekker and adventure enthusiast, who is well known for his trekking content on Youtube and Instagram. The key highlights of his content are the highly adventurous (sometimes extremely risky) nature of his trekking expeditions, largely amid the Sahyadri mountains in Maharashtra, and the breathtaking drone shots he captures while on his adventures. If you love nature, camping, rockclimbing, hill forts, waterfalls, caves, valleys and widlife, you will get hooked to his content. I personally used to love going on treks to forts when I was younger, but my fitness levels (or the lack of it😆) don't allow me to do these any longer. So I like to live the experience through his lens.
