KARMACHARI KICK-BACK

Corporate Karmacharis, stuck in a grind
Deadlines endlessly playing on their minds
Monday Blues all week long
Then work-weekends came along
Can't complain though, coz everyone's aligned

Needless meetings with no end in sight
Email escalations leading to fights
Managers full of pretense
Throwing jargon so dense
Work-life balance - a well-crafted lie

But a hero from IG's arrived
Helping employees salvage some pride
Sparks a humorous vibe
Calls out nonsense with bite
It's Corporat Comics...Subscribe!

As you know, I am participating in the A to Z Blogging Challenge 2025, and I will be writing poems dedicated to my favourite Instagram pages. Today's poem is a tribute to Corporat Comics, which delivers hilarious and hard-hitting comics on everyday madness of the corporate life.. The man behind Corporat Comics, Bengaluru-based Shubham Khurana, is a digital marketer by profession and an artist by passion. He draws inspiration from his corporate experience to come up with witty and relatable comics. His journey as a comic strip artist began as a way to combine his love for sketching with the monotony of office culture.

You can find his work on:-

Website: Corporat Website

Do visit his website and Insta page. Would be wonderful if you could also let him know how you found his content. 😊

Hope you liked this poem. Please leave your comments/feedback.

  2. I absolutely loved your poem, "Karmachari Kick-Back"! It perfectly captures the daily grind of corporate life with humor and wit. The way you describe the endless deadlines and the "Monday Blues all week long" had me nodding in agreement. Your lines about "Needless meetings with no end in sight" and "Managers full of pretense" are spot on—it's like you've been in my office! I especially enjoyed the twist where a hero from Instagram arrives to "help employees salvage some pride." It's refreshing to see how you've highlighted the role of humor in coping with workplace challenges. The shout-out to Shubham Khurana and his "Corporat Comics" was a nice touch; his comics have indeed been a source of laughter for many. Your poem not only entertained but also resonated deeply with anyone who's ever been a "karmachari."
